I was contacted by my friends at Variable and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to direct a PSA-style video on voter’s rights staring ACLU’s celebrity ambassador, Lewis Black. The ACLU already had a rough draft of the script with the basic message and facts they wanted to convey, but it was up to me to shape it around a scenario. So, I decided on the environment I’m most familiar with - my photography studio.
BUT- the most important thing: cast someone else (who is much better looking) to play the photographer.

Love your work as always, Joey. But what these guys aren't saying is that the people who are being supressed from voting are
non-American citizens and not legal ones. ANY American citizen still has the right to vote.
